Everything was explained to us on arrival and our host could not have been lovelier. Walking distance from the train station & to a supermarket. We would throughly recommend you come and stay at this gorgeous property.

I love Ainokura during the winter time, staying at Minshuku Yomoshirou was the highlight of my trip, the snow were covering the village makes it extra magical. The owner is very helpful and kind, they were trying to explain the history of the town, about their ancestor and how they use to live in the mountain in the past. It just nice to be able to stay in the Gassho House and learnt about the wonderful Japanese culture.

Modern, spacious, and clean property. Great value for money, and a quite unique offering for families in the area of Takaoka. I expect coming back 2-3 times annually.

古民家柚子季, a property with a garden, is situated in Tonami, 41 km from Kanazawa Castle, 41 km from Kenrokuen Garden, as well as 31 km from Toyama Station. The place is really great, the combination of old japanese home vibe and futuristic facilities. We got free delicious handmade ice-cream. Love the yogibo❤️

Situated in Nanto, 29 km from Kanazawa Castle and 29 km from Kenrokuen Garden, 越中城端 荒町庵 offers air conditioning. It is located 35 km from Shirakawago and features private check-in and check-out. The building was very well designed it was a historical site. We liked the area it was in which was very beautiful. The staff was quick to reply to us and it have all the amenities one needed. The guide with it was very helpful when exploring Johana. We had booked to go to Shirokawa-Go but Johana was much better and the accommodation exceeded our expectations.
