It’s very calm and peaceful. The house is also very clean and spacious. The caretaker, Sadi (I hope I spelled the name correctly), is a super nice guy and always ready to help. He makes staying here even more special. Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here. It is also possible to organize a safari trip. The price seems fair, and the driver will pick you up directly from the house. I was very satisfied with how well it was organized.

Wilpattu Mookalan Resort se nachází v destinaci Habawewa a má zahradu, nekuřácké ubytování a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Jen 39 km odtud je Kumbichchan Kulama Tank. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They booked a safari in Wilpattu only 1.5 days before our arrival and everything was very well organised. The safari itself was much better than expected: we had the luck to see 4 leopards, a sloth bear and 4 golden jackals, on top of many beautiful birds and reptiles. The resort provided breakfast and lunch to take on the safari, as well as snacks and drinks. Everything was very tasty and plenty. Also breakfast and dinners were very tasty and more than we could eat. All in all, we had a very good stay. Thanks so much!!!!

Sunir nás vzal do Pidurangala a kolem Sigirie svým tuktukem a zařídil i sloní safari v Hurulu. Vse za ceny bez přirážky. Snídaně byly také vynikající servírované na posedu s krásným výhledem na jezero a ptačí představení. Díky za tak krásnou zkušenost.

Our stay at Swan Lake Habarana was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Kalhara, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The property is surrounded by nature, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with great air conditioning and a lovely view of the garden. What really made this stay unforgettable was the hospitality. Kalhara and his wife are truly amazing people – always available, always smiling, and genuinely eager to help with anything. They even arranged a massage and a delicious homemade dinner for us, which we enjoyed under the stars. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, authentic Sri Lankan cuisine made with love. Every detail was taken care of, and we felt more like guests in a family home than in a hotel. We can’t thank our hosts enough for such a beautiful experience. If you’re visiting Habarana and Hurulu eco park, don’t miss the chance to stay here – it’s a hidden gem filled with warmth, kindness, and unforgettable memories.

The owner and his right hand Shiran who were just amazing and will say yes to everything you need! Amazing people! Got lemon juice and the most yummy sugar lemon roti for welcome drinks, they made us feel at home. The location was perfect, out of the hustle and bustle of the town and close enough to be close to all the attractions. Nice big room, comfy bed, hot water (hot /cold water in different pipes) but you can shower with only the hot. Clean and really just perfect. Stay here!

Jeewa, Masha and Oleena are absolut delights. The place is located in a quiet part of habarana, very calming and relaxing with trees, flowers, birds. The rooms are big and convenient. And the best is the hospitality of the hosts, and how Jeewa helped me plan my days, always with the best experiences and best prices. I LOVED staying there. I will for sure go back if I come again to sri lanka !!

The owners, Leo and Wanda, couldn’t do enough to help our stay go smoothly. They helped shape are itinerary and suggestions additions that were fantastic, eg Sri Lankan dance show at the cultural centre, organising a fabulous yoga teacher, as well as great safari. Relaxed and happy vibe to the place with lovely pool area.

Dobrá lokalita na výlety, přístup provozujícího a personálu, možnost večeřet na místě. Mají dobré večeře. Super mít bazén k dispozici. Velkým plusem byla opravdu ochota personálu a domluvení soukromého transferu, protože jsme nemohli sehnat jiného řidiče.. byl tu státní svátek.

Wasantha a jeho žena jsou opravdu vstřícní a skvělí hostitelé. Se vším nám pomohli, vysvětlili, nabídli odvoz a doporučili ty nejlepší možnosti. Jídlo bylo taky skvělé.
