This place was incredible. the staff, the owner, the attention to your needs, and all of the help with booking your activities in the park. It was seamless. we had such a good stay! It really feels like you are out there. It is worth the little extra you spend to be so close to the park and have a full service camping experience. We cannot thank you enough!

I really enjoy this stay and especially the host. Udara was so helpful with everything. He arranged an incredible dinner for us (his mother cooked) and the breakfast was also awesome. He also played some UNO almost until midnight with us and we talked a lot about stuff in Sri Lanka and Yala especially. The vila is big and beautiful, the rooms are completely soundproof (the massive doors help a lot). Udara also hosts three snakes in a tree in the garden and they are so small and beautiful, and also harmless. He also went with us to a temple nearby and explained the history of it. Thank you for having us!

Absolutely wonderful experience, the beach nearby is 10/10, the food was exceptional even considering how remote the location is in the middle of nature.

The breakfast in the tree house and the dinner by the bonfire were incredible. Everybody was super nice and helpful. We has a great experience

We were really happy we chose this place for our 3-night stay at Tissa. I will not write much about the place, the room and the facilities provided and the quality of services provided by the host; they are all better described by other guests and they are all true. I will - above all - point out the amazing care dedicated by the host and his wife in order to serve us the best quality of ingredients and prepared the finest dishes of Sri Lankan cuisine! That was the only place of all Sri Lanka over a 3+ week period where we had the chance (and the luck) to taste authentic local food - and it was amazing! Don't miss this opportunity and book your dinner (half-board) with them... you won't regret it!

Manažer hotelu pan Inbaraj nás doprovodil do zahrady koření, kde s námi udělal podrobnou prohlídku.

The owner was super nice, and made sure we had everything we needed. The place is clean, the room is very big with an amazing outdoor/indoor shower. The service for the food was also super nice, always on time and the choice of food was very variegated. We also did the safari with them, which is 10/10 recommended. The price is the average but we were alone in the jeep, with a private guide and a driver. They made sure we were seeing every animal, explain to us everything while we were going around. Super recommended!

We had an amazing stay thanks to our incredibly kind and helpful host! He went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. He organized a fantastic safari for us and even took us on a special night trip to see bats and crocodiles with flashlights. On top of that, he gave us a tuk-tuk ride and offered transport to our next destinations, which was very thoughtful and convenient. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and our room was very good – clean, comfortable, and with excellent air conditioning. The host’s positive attitude and genuine care for his guests truly made the difference. His hospitality deserves all the recognition! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for making our stay so special!
