Camp Gecko is one of the best memories of our trip! The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the veranda is perfect for enjoying the views and offers the possibility to pull out the bed and sleep under the stars! Just a few steps above the house lays a natural pool within the rocks offering even more breathtaking views, hard to decide where to stay... cannot recommend enough

Located in Sesriem, in Namib Desert, Desert Camp offers luxurious self-catering units, with private bathrooms. Only 5 km away from Sossusvlei Lodge, it features an outdoor pool. We had an amazing time at Desert Lodge and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The accommodation was fantastic, offering stunning views and breathtaking sunsets that we will never forget. One of the highlights was the affordable and delicious BBQ option, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The proximity to Dead Vlei was also perfect – it made visiting the iconic site so easy and convenient. Additionally, we loved relaxing by the pool and had a great time at the bar. The entire atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and we truly felt at home. A campsite worthy of being a destination in an itinerary rather than just a place to spend the night. Its a vast vast vast piece of land, the campsites are far apart, facilities are perfect and very very clean. The vistas are beautiful. Though I didnt see them, the land is home to Giraffes, Wildebeest and more

Neuhof Portion 2 Campsite se nachází v destinaci Sesriem a poskytuje vybavení pro grilování a výhled do zahrady. Všechny ubytovací jednotky mají terasu s výhledem na hory. Great location about 40 minutes from the gates at Sesriem. We were the only ones here and good facility
