The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

The rooms are very clean and cleaned regularly if u stay more than 2 nights. They are equipped by A/C and very comfty beds. The breakfast were the most delicious from what I got in Nicaragua, they were so rich and variable that filled u up until late afternoons, they were basically lunch!! 😀❤️ come here and your stay in SJDS will be unique and u will have a true feeling, u are at home surrounded by kind and sincere family!!🙏🙏😎

The guest house features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. This was easily one of the best hostels if have stayed at. The host family is extremly welcoming and organizes everything you could want (taxi, bikerental, kayaktour) at good prices. The room was cleaned every day and we were given fresh towels daily as well. The breakfast (can only recommend adding that) is delicious and filling. There was a hiccup with the communication via booking.com (it had overbooked the room and when we got there a solution was already provided. I cannot overstate how nice and generous the hostess Odelba and her family was. Jutst thank you for making our stay this wonderful!
