Nice and clean- nice quiet location but still had cafes and restaurants near by and could walk to harbour. Was able to use washing machine to do laundry. Lamy was very good at WhatsAp communication.

Boasting garden views, Mekong Farmstay CanTho - C.R Floating Market features accommodation with balcony, around 6.4 km from Vincom Plaza Xuan Khanh. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The rooms have a terrace with lake views and free WiFi. Human, the owner, is the absolutely best host ever! He is incredibly attentive to his guests and is always there to answer your questions, guide you or simply share his knowledge about Vietnam. The location for this gem is great…you’re in a small village close to the city but it feels quite rural. We stayed 4 nights and felt very spoiled the entire time. The meals, delicious and varied, are cooked by his mother and included in the price. The bungalows are basic but comfortable and clean and the mosquito nets are very welcome. There is a nice space outside each bungalow to relax. There is no air conditioning but we found the fans he provided sufficient. His free bikes are in good condition…the best we had in Vietnam. We don’t usually do a lot of guided trips, preferring to explore on our own, but we were SO glad we did one with Human to the floating markets, noodle factory and land market. It was awesome and personal . We were alone with him and the boatman, a family member, and Human is wealth of information and speaks English very well. We were so glad not to be on one of the bigger impersonal commercial boats! I can’t say enough good things about Human and this homestay. It was my favourite 4 days in Vietnam!

This is such a lovely stay in the Mekong Delta! Martin has created a wonderful oasis. If you want to experience a slice of real, rural life in the delta, then Martin's place is for you. He's clearly put a lot of thought into the rooms and making them both attractive and comfortable. He has bikes you can use for free to cycle around the village, which is a lovely way to experience the area. I also highly recommend doing his boat tour! It's a bit more expensive than the other touristic boat tours in the area, but in my opinion totally worth it. You'll see much more than with the typical tourist boats (but you'll still see the same things they see too, so you aren't missing anything), and have a much more local and enjoyable experience. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I also recommend doing the full board option and eating all your meals at Martin's, as there aren't any other restaurants nearby and also Mimi is a wonderful cook. You won't go hungry! She always prepares a feast! I'm grateful to Martin for his hospitality and whole heartedly recommend staying here to enjoy life on the Mekong delta.

The house is in a very quiet spot and easy to get to in the middle of small streets where locals live and you can get to the city center in no time. The room left me speechless it was beautiful, super spacious, bright with fabulous decor. The hosts were really helpful with any of my requests and answered questions right away in the booking app. To get around the city more easily I used the bicycles, they are offered for free and are really practical! Bosa will take you right from the front of their home by boat through the waterways and out to the floating market for a morning breakfast on the water followed by a visit to a family run rice noodle business. Both Phoenix and Bosa will treat you like family.
