Although we arrived late in the evening, Marie was welcoming and showed us to our very clean room. She asked us at what time we wanted our breakfast and had a full Irish (and some 😃) ready for us the next morning. Her homemade scones and brown bread were sensational. Out the dining room windows we saw their new calf and met Patch, their terrier mix dog. Marie gave us tips, maps, and info on what see in the area and gave us a tour of St. John’s old schoolhouse that is also available to book for a stay. It’s adorable! I can’t say enough about Marie and John’s hospitality and kindness. I hope to see them again if I make it to Ireland!

The whole stay in Lisalway Lodge was outstanding from arrival to leaving, the hosts Pam and Tommy were really flexible with us even though we arrived very late due to travel disruption. The whole house was amazing, clean, bright, well maintained, our suite was luxurious, the breakfast was so good, with a great choice, Tommy bakes the bread it was so delicious you’ll never taste anything like it, his scones are also delicious. We felt very well looked after and a little spoilt when our hosts found out it was our honeymoon. I can’t recommend this place highly enough, it’s everything you want and more including fantastic hosts

Dr. The property is sitting on its own with a beautiful front and back garden. Including a helicopter pad in the back garden which one of the owners Ronald was more than happy to show us and tell us the bit of history behind. The other owner Maureen was such a delight to talk to and get to know also. This property is not a house it is in fact a home! My partner and I felt welcome from the minute we walked in the door and will most certainly be staying here regularly over the coming months. Not to mention the absolute softies Bailey, Bonnie & Clyde. I have never come across more calm and loving dogs!

The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel was spotless and very comfortable. Everything was perfect. Thank you for such a lovely experience – we would definitely come back again! 🌸

Delicious breakfast cooked by our wonderful hosts. The room was clean and comfortable with nice views around the property. Nice quiet location very close to Roscommon town.

Ard Aoibhinn Roscommon Bed & Breakfast se nachází v destinaci Lecarrow a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a výhled do zahrady. Claypipe Visitors Centre se nachází 8,2 km odtud. Doris and Kevin were the perfect hosts, beautiful home and the breakfast was fabulous, great nights sleep. Rooms bigger than you would expect and to be woken by birdsong was an added extra. The local pubs were about a mile or so down the road with a harbour if you fancy a walk.Athlone town only 10 minutes away if you fancy a more lively night out taxis available. All in all a great find and most definitely would recommend and hope to revisit in the near future.
