This is the most incredible family run hotel, I cannot praise it enough. Located just down the road from the National Park so it's the most perfect resting spot either before or after a Safari. You cannot really describe the tranquility and peaceful ambiance of this hotel, it is incredible! The rooms are immaculately clean, really comfortable and well presented. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and were so kind and friendly to both us and our children. The hotel has a fantastic pool which is the perfect place to cool off in the afternoon. The food is some of the best that we have tasted whilst travelling Sri Lanka, completely delicious and freshly cooked dinner and breakfast. The value for money is excellent and you get the feel of high end at a really reasonable price. I'd say that this hotel is a must stay whilst visiting this area. We plan to return on our next trip. The beautiful rainforest garden and the stunning and comfortable room we stayed in. It was immaculate with a modern bathroom and very comfortable bed. There was a new aircon unit and outdoor swing couch too. Leel and his family went above and beyond to make us feel at home and the food was delicious and authentic. We stayed here for 2 nights and could have easily stayed much longer! The safari that Leel took us on was fantastic as well. It honestly was a 12/10 stay and we can't wait to recommend it to our friends back home in New Zealand. The best place in all of Sri Lanka!!!

We used it as a stopover to visit Udalawawe National Park. When we arrived, we were first given a welcome drink and then we were taken straight to the elephant orphanage for feeding time. Our hosts made every effort to fulfill our every wish. The room was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. We used the pool to cool off and enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the accommodation. The Sri Lankan dinner buffet was the best we had during our stay. We particularly liked this accommodation because of its location and the possibility of booking a safari tour. The very next day we were able to set off from the hotel with the guide and the car for our 4-hour tour. We had a lot of fun and it was an unforgettable experience!
