This was my favourite accommodation throughout my entire trip to Costa Rica. The location was perfect and felt very safe and secure as a solo female traveller. The owners were absolutely lovely and so so helpful!!! They were extremely responsive on What’s App and made sure I had anything I needed within minutes. I had an issue with the toilet and they were able to check it very promptly and provide an alternative option until it was fixed. They treated their guests like family and took care of all their needs with warm and welcoming smiles and greetings. The bungalow was perfect, it felt like a little home in the jungle. I loved relaxing on the balcony in the hammock, watching the tropical storms and wildlife move through the jungle. Tuk tuks were readily available to the property but you can also walk to town within 20-25 mins all the way by beach or along the streets which I loved. There was a small supermarket about a 10 min walk away with enough to provide for my stay. I absolutely loved my time here and was so sad to leave.

Lovely accommodation with very comfortable bed, quiet jungle surroundings, nice kitchen, set up, and good air conditioning. It was nice having a covered outside porch. Included breakfast was great. The owners and staff were extremely nice and helpful. Are they highly recommend this place.

The sleek, modern design and outdoor living space were unique to this property. We loved the kitchen, and the bathroom made us feel like we were showering in the rainforest! Beautiful!

Great position, just on the beach, quiet place, in contrast monkyes calling in the morning🐒(great) and realy perfect accomodation! 100% reccommended! Andrea

Mar Verde Lodge se nachází v destinaci Puerto Viejo, nedaleko od zajímavých míst jako Pláž Playa Chiquita, a nabízí zahradu, terasu a balkon s výhledem do zahrady. The room was blended in with the tall trees of the 'jungle' - it was very special ! The decoration in the room set a unique atmosphere. Leon is a very friendly host. Breakfast was fresh and very filling. We wish we had more than 30mins in the morning to enjoy it more. Leon had great recommendations for restaurants near his place and in Puerto Viejo.
