Excellent location, on the top of a dune in the middle of the desert. Fantastic 360 degree view. 15 rooms, outside pool very nice, very good half board plan. Rooms are excellent equipped, with terrace overlooking the desert (the fact that you do not have TV it is rather an advantage). WiFi works very well. The manager (Mr Gautam Balram) is very friendly and helpful. From the activities, we would recommend "night safari and star watching" (ask for Faisal as your guide). Difficult to get there with your own car (do not attempt if you do not have a real 4 motion car and you are not an experienced driver). Aim for the sister camp (Arabian Oryx Camp), and ask the reception there to guide you for the last km, since google maps are not accurate. Parking is free. We would recommend to spend at least two nights there. One night it is not enough.

The camp was nicely located in the dunes, there were some other camps nearby, but not close enough to notice them without walking some distance. The facilities were amazing, tents were simple, yet well equipped and the little private bathrooms (including showers) were just perfect. Sunset camel ride was brilliant and definitely worth doing. Both the dinner and breakfast were well prepared with a large variety of food, we were very impressed by the quality and quantity of the dinner and breakfasts.

Staying at Desert Diamond Private camp was one of the best experiences I had in Oman. The camp is private and peaceful, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious and varied — I especially enjoyed the camel meat at dinner. Breakfast on the soft desert sand was unforgettable. The room and bathroom were both beautifully decorated and very clean. The stargazing trip was a magical experience that added a special touch to the stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert escape.

Ubytovanie Rashid Desert Private Camp sa nachádza v destinácii Badīyah. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii terasu a vybavenie na grilovanie. Amazing experience. Left our vehicle at meeting point and paid for return trip transport which was definitely the right choice. Others who drove themselves found driving on the sand and changing road challenging and followed us out on departure. All the staff were great and really wanted everyone to have the best experience. Sunsets from the dunes, tent accommodation, food all great. Didn’t try the shower set up, very basic. Tour to the Bedouin house, camels on the roadside, expert driving through and down the dunes, night time scorpion walk - all amazing. We missed the part in the communications where payment was cash only at time of departure but were able to go to an ATM on our return to the meeting place and take care of payments

Ubytovanie SandGlass Camp sa nachádza v destinácii Badīyah a má balkón. Said was extremely friendly and helpful. I changed my plan during the stay and he helped me get yo the bus station to go to Muscat. Camp was in a great location. Highly recommend!

Perfect organisation and a great location deep in the desert. Very sustainable setting, great, easy and beautiful huts, very little light in the night, which we liked a lot, all very clean. Humied was a very welcoming host, explained many desert facts and made us a sweet little picnic between the camels with fresh karak and dates in the sunset in the desert. We loved his very well kept camels, friendly and strong! We like to warmly recommend this camp!
