The campsite was away from all the other crowded campsites in a beautiful tranquil setting. The tents were exceptionally comfortable and clean. The food was excellent and plentiful. The entertainment/gathering around the after-dinner campfire was lovely and all the activities were thrilling!

We arrived much later than we expected and Ibraheim was very reassuring and took care of all the arrangements. He took time to sit with us after dinner and breakfast the next morning, he is an outstanding contact to have if you are in Oman and require travel arrangements to any part of the country - he supplied us with a route on google maps to see as many places as possible in the shortest amount of time! While we sat around the camp fire, Saeed took a lot of time to answer all our curious questions about life in Oman. A really authentic experience! Strong recommendation!

The camp was nicely located in the dunes, there were some other camps nearby, but not close enough to notice them without walking some distance. The facilities were amazing, tents were simple, yet well equipped and the little private bathrooms (including showers) were just perfect. Sunset camel ride was brilliant and definitely worth doing. Both the dinner and breakfast were well prepared with a large variety of food, we were very impressed by the quality and quantity of the dinner and breakfasts.

Staying at Desert Diamond Private camp was one of the best experiences I had in Oman. The camp is private and peaceful, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious and varied — I especially enjoyed the camel meat at dinner. Breakfast on the soft desert sand was unforgettable. The room and bathroom were both beautifully decorated and very clean. The stargazing trip was a magical experience that added a special touch to the stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert escape.

We loved every moment of our stay, from the seamless pre-arrival communication and warm welcome to the thoughtful guidance on driving in the desert. The hosts take care of everything, including deflating your tires, before leading you in a convoy with other guests to the camp. This is a truly one of a kind experience at the first authentic Bedouin camp ever established. The host family, who have lived in the area for generations, offer a genuine glimpse into their way of life. We also booked the one hour sunset tour, which we highly recommend. Out of all the places we stayed during our Oman trip, this was by far the most unforgettable.
