Amazing little place. Better than expected. Would love to come back in warmer weather (not that the hut was too cold… with the stove going we were toasty! And the column heater was on when we arrived, making the hut very comfortable). Perfect bed.

What an absolute gem ! We have just returned from a wonderful stay in ‘Hollyhock’ cottage on this wonderful farm set in idyllic surroundings . What sets this cottage apart is not only the beautiful surroundings but the exceptional standard of accommodation. The cottage is both comfortable, cosy and welcoming; furnished and decorated inside incredibly tastefully. We have stayed in many cottages all over the UK and we feel that this one is by far one of the best . In addition , the hosts Kaye and Richard have really provided everything that you could possibly need or want to really have a home away from home . What was also lovely was how we were met personally by the hosts who took the time to show us around and really make us feel welcome . We absolutely loved the location too . There are lots of things to do in the local area and we managed to pack in a day at Burghley House, local walks, a trip around the beautiful town of Stamford and some visits to some local antique centres . In addition we had some excellent meals in some brilliant local pubs. Kaye and Richard , thank you again for your hospitality and for the opportunity to stay on your wonderful farm . We will be coming back !

All cabins in Stamford

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Well what a little gem! This was an exceptional stay in glorious surroundings, the shepherd's hut was fabulous really clean and had everything you need. The bed was super comfy. The prosecco hunt was genius! Such nice touches to make it a special stay in a beautiful wildflower meadow and orchard.

There was nothing to dislike - everything was perfect! Extra touches really made our stay special, the staff are wonderful and informative and the hut itself it’s gorgeous. We could not believe how secluded and peaceful it felt, the village is so picturesque. Amenities are great, powerful shower and cosy log fires with a comfy king sized bed. Cannot wait to return. What a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! It was incredibly cozy, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The hosts were incredibly friendly, offering fantastic recommendations that enhanced our experience. The thoughtful touches, such as fresh eggs in the morning, a delightful prosecco trail, and a well-stocked mini-bar, made our stay truly special. We highly recommend this place for a memorable and enjoyable getaway. Thank you to the hosts for making our stay so wonderful!

The location was great as it was near enough to home and easy to find. Liked my dedicated parking. Lovely views which will be beautiful in the spring and summer. The cabin was cosy and very comfortable and has all modern equipment and little surprises. I needed the peace and quiet and I got that. But the best thing was the sound of the rain on the roof. The treasure hunt was a fun thing to do.

Just perfect. Hard to think of a way to improve the huts - lots of thoughtful little additions. Very friendly hosts, although it's all done via door code and instructions so you might not need to speak to them. Very helpful when asked though. We stayed in winter and it was plenty warm enough - either with the log burner or the radiator. But I'm sure the summer would be great. It's a great 90-120 min walk into Stamford, mostly off-road. Then a short taxi back.
