Absolutely loved this magical place. Nice and quiet getaway, falling asleep with only the sound of the river. So much attention for details by the sweetest couple who run the place. Amazing view. Nice walk at the property along. the town close by felt very safe. We used this spot to travel to Drakensberg park, so after a day of hiking this was the perfect place to relax. One of our favorite spots in South Africa!

Host CJ is friendly and gladly shares his vast knowledge of his property's fascinating history. The view of Sounds in Silence is gorgeous and the aura peaceful. The bedroom we stayed in was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The private bathroom is spacious and spotless. My daughter and I loved our short stay, as did our spaniel.

Situated in Howick in the KwaZulu-Natal region, C'est La Vie has a patio. Guests can benefit from a balcony and a picnic area.

This was an amazing place that overlooks the Midlands meander, making it perfect for an RnR experience and river below was an added bonus because I got to take a dip in a little private setting .Judy was an excellent host to us .The friendly dogs also played their part for hosting us .Definitely will be returning !!!

Lakeview Cottage is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated, and surrounded by breathtaking lake views. Every detail was perfect, from the jacuzzi and fireplace to the cozy blankets and big TV. A special thank you to Zanele, the caretaker, who was incredibly helpful and kind. She made us feel truly welcome and was always ready to assist with anything we needed. Communication with the owners was also excellent, we received replies within a minute, and nothing was ever too much. We’re already planning to come back for a longer stay. Highly recommended for peace, comfort, and exceptional service!
