The lovely owner was very responsive, with clear communication on how to find the cabin. There is quite a steep drive up but it is manageable and worth it when you get to the top. The firewood and fire was great and little kitchenette and large fridge were perfect for cooking meals. Lago Ranco is very close and has a large supermarket and fruit grocers to stock up on before you arrive.

The house was super warm and incredibly cozy, and has everything you need. It is one of the most beautiful settings we have ever stayed in. Towels and bed linen are offered in the chalet. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. A fantastic place to stay. The host was waiting for us when we arrived late night. He is a very, very friendly man, even fetched the groceries for us (as it is a long trip to get to the center of the village) and brought them. The restaurant next doors opened for us and still served some very nice food. The house had everything we needed, is was like a family home, with 3 separate bedrooms for the 6 of us. Plenty of houseware and a very spacious fridge. We had the possibility to do our laundry as well (is actually why we also chose it). The location is also very nice, amidst the woods and close to the entrance of the parque nacional Villarrica.
