The staff was excellent and assisted us with anything we needed. The view was breathtaking and amenities were on par. Chilling in the pool taking in the view of the sunset over the valley was exceptional.

The staff was kind and helpful, and the glamping site itself was amazing. We had a little garden area to ourselves, with a fire pit, bathtub, bathroom + shower, net to relax in, and the tent. Inside, the temperature was very comfortable, they had AC and a fan, everything was clean, and there was free water and coffee. They also bring breakfast to your tent in the morning, and dinner as well if you book it. We had no problems with anything and greatly enjoyed our stay, it felt luxurious but still connected to nature.

We had a wonderful weekend here. The cabin is nice, specious and clean. The roof didn't leak a droplet even when it rained very hard (I had other experiences in other places...). The shower is hot. The owner is friendly and was flexible with check-in & check-out, helping us quite a lot.

Whether it was providing local recommendations or helping with special arrangements, her warm and personalized service made me feel incredibly welcomed and valued. The hotel itself offers a peaceful and relaxing environment, making it the perfect place to unwind. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed to create a calm, tranquil atmosphere. It’s easy to see that the hotel takes great care in maintaining a serene ambiance for all guests. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was a delicious spread, offering a variety of fresh, high-quality options. From fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes, it was a perfect way to start the day. Overall, I would highly recommend Selva Verde, to anyone seeking a relaxing retreat with outstanding customer service. Mary’s incredible assistance, along with the peaceful setting and fantastic breakfast, made this stay unforgettable. I look forward to returning!

Our family of 4 spent 10 days relaxing here. Fabio is a lovely guy. We asked if there was any chance he could find us a guitar for our lad and he went to the trouble of borrowing one for us and drove over from Armenia with new mozzie nets for us. The house is about 10 minutes walk out of town (up hill on the way back!). It's in beautiful peaceful location, with gorgeous views. I'll never forget watching the sunrise from the bedroom balcony, drinking local coffee and watching the hummingbirds buzz past just a few feet away. The track to the house carries on down to the river (about a 20 minute walk) which is great, because the road would be challenging with traffic. Don't miss walking a little way back towards town in the dark to see fields full of fireflies! We left a bit of our hearts here.
