It's an excellent place for a tree huggers! Unusually done, well thought. The views are spectacular! Nice stuff, if you don't speak Spanish, they speak (at least what I heard) English, German.... for someone who want to disconnect and meditate - will be a trill. Kitchen is exellent and not expensive. I saw a lot of people with small kids, but in the bungalow we didn't heard them at all.

Surrounded by 860 private acres of tropical rainforest and featuring an on-site lake, a swimming pool, a sun terrace and games room, Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails is located within the Arenal... The location was absolutely stunning with amazing views of the Arenal volcano and lake. We loved the various hiking trails, one even led to a water fall where you could swim, so bring your swim suits! We saw so much wild-life nearby on our walks including coyotes, toucans and monkeys. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We loved every meal and found the staff to be super friendly and helpful, wish we could have stayed longer!

I mentioned when booking that we'd be staying the night of our youngest daughter's 2nd birthday. Some accommodations place a little note in the room; I thought it'd be a nice touch for her baby book. The host reached out prior to our arrival stating they'd do a little something for her and I was already so touched. But when we arrived, we walked into a chalet filled with personalized balloons, a birthday sign, cupcakes, a candle, AND a note. Needless to say, both our girls were elated and my husband and I were completely blown away by the host's care and love toward our littlest. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!! You made a long travel day so special, and a little girl's 2nd birthday an unforgettable one! On another note, the chalet itself is beautiful: modern, nicely situated in nature, and possibly the best-equipped rental we've ever stayed in. They have every kitchen appliance under the sun, a very obvious 1st aid kit (just in case), and a wonderful washer out back. Even more impressive is how spotlessly clean the place was - we were amazed! We'd highly recommend!

Quiet , peaceful, super friendly staff. Very comfortable beds , great breakfast and they accommodated my need for GF as I am Coeliac. The grounds were absolutely stunning and the rooms were huge. Amazing wildlife, we saw toucans , iguanas and heard the howler monkeys.

The meals are a highlight—delicious, healthy, and hearty, made with fresh ingredients sourced directly from their garden. Every bite feels homemade and thoughtfully prepared. The lodge itself is a stunning blend of a forest and a botanical garden, teeming with wildlife, especially birds. It's a nature lover's dream. I highly recommend the night tour with Jay—it’s an unforgettable experience. Nohelia is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and Costa Rica as a whole, always ready to offer helpful tips and advice. One thing to note: the lodge is accessible only with a 4WD vehicle, as the last 3 kilometers of the road are quite rough. However, the journey is absolutely worth it. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Ecolodge Cecropia. If I could, I’d rate it 200%. Nohelia and Jay are truly wonderful hosts, and they’ve created a magical place that’s not to be missed.

Quinta Esencia mempunyai pemandangan taman, WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma di Alajuela, 13km dari Taman Negara Poas. the place and the property are amazing, so far the best stay in Costa Rica. hotels do not meet world wide standards here but this property was great! I highly recommend it. Visit the poas volcano and the Starbucks finca from here
