The accommodation and communal spaces were of exceptional standard as was every meal. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming also great to spend time chatting with. It's just one cottage on the cliff with a very nice reef for snorkeling just below. We had the whole place to ourselves and then the hosts came by to make us delicious lunch and dinner. We ended up staying for a week and just loved it.

Breakfast was included in the price but lunches and dinners were generous, inexpensive and carefully prepared by Marlyne, the wife of the host, Jan. We took an all day tour of the surrounding countryside, culminating in a swim in a small lake and sulfuric hot spa. Don’t forget to take in the amazing market in town. While some of it may look familiar to fellow travellers, other parts are unique to the region. Finally, if you’re lucky enough to be in town in early August, check to see if the flower festival and parade are on.
