We really loved this place so much that we are already planning to stay here for weeks or month next time.. This place has almost eveything you need for a long stay. Our family have stayed in many places before but this beautiful house by the lake was really exceptional. There’s every comfort and facility a family will need. The host was extremely helpful and always responsive. It’s the perfect place to explore Connemara and Galway from. On a clear night, the view with the moon’s reflection is like something out of a fairy tale.

The cozy little chalet has everything you need - kitchen, laundry. And it’s walkable (carefully) to some fantastic views along Sky Road and a beach.

Lovely spacious house right next to Connemara National Park and lovely beaches close by. Shop and restaurant a walking distance away. I stayed with my two dogs and the space was ideal for them. I am always delighted to find dog friendly accommodation. The house was spotlessly clean, beds were very comfortable and the house was lovely and warm on arrival. The host replied promptly to any question I had and was extremely accommodating and helpful when I had to amend my booking at the last minute. The only thing that might need checking is some of the blinds. One or two appear to be stuck open. This didn’t affect me as I only used one bedroom where they did work. In all, I’d highly recommend the house to solo travellers or groups with or without dogs in tow.

Loved the location, very rural with views to the sea on two sides. A tiny chalet but everything necessary was provided. Bed was comfy but, if you’ve reached that time of life when you need to visit the bathroom in the night, one of you will need to clamber your way out over your partner! It didn’t bother, us but do be aware that there is no WiFi here and we also found our mobile signal to be intermittent. So, if you can’t survive without being in constant communication this might not suit you.
