It was the most wonderful place, a very special place, very calm, it felt very personal and exclusive The rooms were much more than just a room, having your own front door straight into the garden and pool area, they were incredibly clean and the bathroom is such a treat, it really connects you to the nature all around, absolutely fantastic and super clean also, great shower, very comfy large bed. The staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble and the food is fabulous, as in the rest of Sri Lanka and indeed anywhere, the local Sri lankan dishes were definitely the best and I would suggest people choose these, taste and presentation was superb. We would definitely love to come back

An incredible place literally in the middle of the jungle. We were charmed by the place, which was surrounded by greenery and tranquility. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The hosts were extremely kind, warm and hospitable. They sent us off with a rich and very tasty breakfast. We regret that we only stayed for one night and hope to come back again someday.

Majiteli jsou velmi milí a přátelští manželé, usměvaví a vždy ochotní pomoci. Pokoj krásný, čistý a na skvělém místě, jen kousek od Lion Rock. Bazén také super, osvětlený, bylo možné ho používat i za tmy. Jídlo skvělé, nebyl problém připravit nám snídani i velmi brzy ráno. Moc děkujeme a určitě doporučujeme.

Honestly, the absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka! Out of all 7 weeks in Sri Lanka our 3 nights here were the best, and it was 90% due to this Homestay!!! We felt amazingly at home! Chamika was WONDERFUL. He hiked up to pidurangula with us and brought us surprise coffee in a coconut, and didn’t ask for anything in return! We did a cooking class and ate some of the best food ever, and chamika went to swim in a lake with us! The room was as exactly as described with comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing everyday and just laying on the rock with a view of the lake was stunning! Overall if I could rate this place 1000 stars I would! Thank you guys so much!

Back of Beyond - Pidurangala se nachází uprostřed přírodní krajiny a nabízí klidné útočiště ve městě Sigiriya. The location in the middle of the jungle was stunning. At night time all you can hear is the sound of the jungle- quite magical. Waking up to the hundreds of birds all around is also very special. Our trips (a boat ride and safari) and all our transport was perfectly organised by Dhammika who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and share his knowledge of the area with us. The food was excellent - Nihal and Ajith made us delicious meals (one breakfast was even served down by the stream which was a lovely surprise). Madurangu and Raju also looked after us so well. We’re so glad we stayed 2 nights. I would happily have stayed much longer!
