Search cabins in Polonnaruwa District

The cabin had a lovely private veranda with a view over the lake. A really unique and homely place. Stay if you want something a bit different. We had a great time there!

We had a very pleasant stay with Sanka.He is a very attentive host with genuin smile on his face all the time. The place is a great retreat for animal lovers. The cabin is next to a lake where you can see plenty of birds and enjoying your meal on the little terrace. Hosts provides the bikes that you can use to visit thr acient city, which is not far from the hotel location.

The small basic cabin is in a lovely location on the edge of the lake. Would recommend the boat safari which was a fabulous experience. We were lucky to have a close encounter with an elephant!

Location, food, friendly staff Facing the lake is an amazing view. We saw a beautiful peacock. the hut on the tree is a great experience. Cool relaxing place.

The location right in front of the lake was amazing. We could see fireflies in the evening and it was really quiet. We also enjoyed the beeakfast. The check in was really flexible, we could even rent bikes for exploring the ancient city which was amazing. The cabin itself was clean and cosy. If we have had more time we would have definetely stayed longer.

Our stay at Lake Cabin in Polonnaruwa met all our expectations. The host was extraordinarily friendly and understanding. The view from the balcony looking over the lake was mesmerizing. The breakfast was truly amazing with multiple different options to choose from. If you are looking for a place to stay in Polonnaruwa, we can definitely recommend Lake Cabin!

The service at the hotel was excellent. They made milk rice on our request and it was amazingly delicious. The breakfast menus are good with varieties of options to choose from. Although smaller than anticipated, the cabin was still clean and comfortable. The location of the Lake Cabin is perfect. The balcony is closely facing the Parakrama Samudraya, which is idyllic and picturesque, with a beautiful setting.

This is a gem! it’s architecturally interesting, beautifully designed with glorious views. The chalets were comfortable, had marvellous inside/outside bathrooms and were tastefully furnished. The staff were attentive and welcoming and food was delicious.
