The Afro-chic rooms at Immanuel Wilderness Lodge are fitted with a private bathroom and tea-and-coffee making facilities. The beds are draped with a mosquito net. Linen and towels are provided. Owner overseas. Credit Card machine not operational. Breakfast opens late, I needed to leave early. The staff did pack a takeaway for me. Only on night stay, so can't comment on the place. Staff tried their best to help with the credit card machine.

Dinner and breakfast were delicious and well prepared by the staff. Staff were very welcoming and present and always ready to help (found us a hair dryer, gave advice on surrounding area, always friendly). Room was in a separate cabin which was nice and quiet. Views were amazing. Location great for early day in Windhoek.

The lodge offers an à la carte or continental breakfast. This is a beautiful property outside of Windhoek and a great place to stay if being in the city doesn’t capture your interest. The staff, especially in the restaurant, are wonderful, and the chalets are really beautiful, with comfortable beds, lots of pillows, a spacious shower, and a cool vibe. There are two hikes you can do affording you the chance to see some animals if you are lucky - I saw some giraffe and a herd of wildebeest. Animals can be found on the property too, particularly at night.
