The staff here are fantastic - very friendly, welcoming and warm. They go the extra mile and seem genuinely happy. Special thank you to Petrus and the front of house team for being so kind. The lodge has charm, good vibes and seemed much more authentic compared some other lodges we stayed at. The location is incredibly peaceful and quiet. We saw giraffe, warthog, impala, kudu, waterbuck, mongoose, ostrich - either by sitting at the new waterhole viewing platform with a drink at sunset, or by going for a little walk . We stayed in winter, but our room had a heat pump plus a woodburner which was lit by the staff every night. Super cosy. Perfect spot to get a first taste of Namibia, recover and recharge after a long flight. We felt very at home.

All the staff were very warm and welcoming. The lodge is exceptional, the food is excellent and we had a very relaxing stay.

Immanuel Wilderness Lodge is located 20 km north of Windhoek. Surrounded by African savannah in a growing suburb of the capital, the lodge offers a garden, outdoor pool and restaurant. Owner overseas. Credit Card machine not operational. Breakfast opens late, I needed to leave early. The staff did pack a takeaway for me. Only on night stay, so can't comment on the place. Staff tried their best to help with the credit card machine.

Daan Viljoen Game Lodge asub 22 km kaugusel Warehouse Theatre'ist. Kohapeal on restoran, välibassein, aed ja terrass. WiFi-ühendus on tasuta. This is a beautiful property outside of Windhoek and a great place to stay if being in the city doesn’t capture your interest. The staff, especially in the restaurant, are wonderful, and the chalets are really beautiful, with comfortable beds, lots of pillows, a spacious shower, and a cool vibe. There are two hikes you can do affording you the chance to see some animals if you are lucky - I saw some giraffe and a herd of wildebeest. Animals can be found on the property too, particularly at night.
