We stayed at the Hilton and Sofitel while on the island but this lodge scored the highest for us on great value and friendly stay. Things we liked - • comfy bed • great, large balcony with nice chairs • well equipped, clean kitchen and bathroom • extremely clean • FREE pick up and drop off from port - which is very expensive in French Polynesia • most friendly, kind and helpful owners • idyllic garden • lovely owners with help you organise tours, trips and things to do on the island • great location on the island - minutes walk from great restaurants, fantastic bakery, bank, supermarket, pharmacy and beach cafes • could easily stay here days / weeks!

Very nice place to stay. Lodges are huge. We were watching whales from the beach every morning, which was really unexpected.

We were in awe when we walked in. It was difficult to find at first, but once there, we traveled the island on scooter and found our way easily. The view was spectacular, with sunrise from the bed or balcony each morning. Private beach not really good for snorkeling, but easy to get to Temae beach. We did not get breakfast as did some other reviewers, but that was not a problem. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor bathroom was perfect! Frederique was friendly. Eat at Motu Grill next door. It is fantastic!

Deck has bonus of a personal secluded wading pool. Romantic property. Would definitely book again.

Sea is almost in the house, lovely. Great option to overpriced overwater bungalows. Upper floor is comfortable bedroom with the Air Conditioner and balcony. Unlimited reasonable fast and stable wifi is available for free in all apartment. Parking is private and covered with direct access to the kitchen area. Small boat (Kayak) is available for free and anytime as part of the deal. The best supermarket is located like 10 mins by car in the next bay area. For a price probably one of the best deals on the island.

Extraordinary view and location. The Appartement is super clean and tidy. Everything you can wish for when looking for a relaxed stay. Perfect stay! The house is colorful, beautiful, and has everything we needed. The location is amazing—right by the backyard with direct access to the beach full of tide pools. It really felt like living in a dream. The owner was so kind to provide goggles and fins for snorkelling. We rented scooters for food runs, went hiking nearby.
