It's very rural and can be very quiet (if other vacationers are not making noise next door). There is a small stream on the property. The house itself is sufficient for families. It's a great place to stay put and relax. It is not well-connected to anything, so if you're hoping to go out, plan for lots of time spent in the car, otherwise, bring lots of food and whatever else you need and just chill out.
