Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine.

The tastefully decorated chalets are fully equipped and some of them offer views. Each unit comes with a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Exceptional stay! The host was super friendly and the breakfast was delicious (can only recommend the selfmade jam!) wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We stayed in one of the luxury suites and it was stunning. The outdoor shower and plunge pool were highlights. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the view was stunning. We did a short hike around the property which was nice as well.

It has breathtaking views from executive room. The rooms have excellent design, comfortable and clean. The hosts are nice. This lodge is a must-visit on a trip to Kruger park or back just for relaxing. I very rarely rate hotels as 10, but this is one of the few.
