Fantastic reception from the lovely couple who runs the hotel. They were always there to be of service. Breakfast was great, very tasty with a little variety each morning. Got a lift to the airport for a very good price from the hotel so I’m sure you could arrange to be picked up from the airport too …

The staff are very welcome and friendly. The location is perfect if you're not going to do beach activities. In the centre everything is just near the shopping area and the sea side is just walking around 10 min . They have amazing restaurant in the hotel. The room has a balcony on the centre. It's a brand new hotel, the staff was lovely, (we could communicate enough with English with them), the breakfast selection was simple but really tasty. The room basically didn't had any drawers but I didn't mind it. Great shower, facilites were new and functioning. A modern look in the middle of town, I was really surprised. Good air conditioning too, could keep the room cold in August weather just fine. It has an design just like my taste so i really felt at home. TV was an android tv, I could watch Netflix, YouTube, everything I wanted, they really thought out their rooms to the modern traveler. They gave some water bottles to drink every day, that was also cool and considerate of the owner. The bathroom mirror lights were also a really nice touch. The location was central, near some of the historic sites from Dürres. Could walk fine from the port to there with luggage with wheels. They also provided breakfast on our day of arrival for a small fee and kept the luggage before check-in so we could explore the city.

Where do I begin? I have stayed at many hotels in the past, but the service I was provided at the Grand Duka is honestly the best! This hotel ticks every box! Location-wise wise it is so close to everything! The Beach, Nightlife, Bars, & Restaurants were walking distance away (cabs to and from the hotel and bars were relatively cheap as well). The hotel is absolutely beautiful, it's modern, minimalistic, with a neutral tone that flows through the property. Rooms are just as impressive, they were so clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was great too- so many people asked me where I was staying! The spa & wellness centre was well-kept and very clean! All of the gym equipment worked properly, and they had a variety of machines to choose from. The spa facilities were a great way to relax (I spent a lot of time in there!) The restaurant and bar were great, and the breakfast menu had lots of variety to choose from! The dinner options were well-made and delicious! The bar and bar staff were great, providing great customer service & recommending drinks (my favourite was the Aperol Spritz!) The staff are some of the friendliest and helpful people I have come across when staying at a hotel - they greeted us with a smile every day, they made excursion recommendations for us to make the most of our holiday, and they would always ask if there was anything they could do to help! I would like to give a special shout-out to Anisa, the Marketing Manager; she was amazing, such a lovely lady, and super friendly! We were celebrating my Sister's 23rd birthday, she went over and above to help make sure it was special, assisting with getting special decorations, planning the surprise, and the cake! Honestly, Grand Duka was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had! If I ever find myself back in Durrës I know exactly where I'll be staying!

Wonderful place to stay in Durres! The hotel looks really new, everyone in the hotel was really friendly and really nice area on the top of building to have breakfast. The hotel straight in the center but windows and doors make it really quiet in the room, so you can sleep or chill peacefully
