The food was incredible. Everyone in the village was so welcoming. We walked to the cafe for an espresso and the owner invited us to their house for Ouzo, we learned so much from her using a translate app. She gave us two bags of almonds and a bag of grapes. Another neighbor gave us a watermelon looking pumpkin as we walked by and little old lady invited us into her yard to pick figs and herbs. On the way back the host brought us cold beer when we were walking in the hot sun, which was very thoughtful. The children were fun to hang out with, took us horseback riding, made us catch bunnies lol and answered a lot of our questions about Albanian culture. The couch on the front porch and the kitty were our favorite part of the cabin. It was interesting to see the inside of the bunker and get a 12year old’s perspective on communism. It was a scary but neat experience to milk the cow. And finally the fire you built for us was perfect. Thank you for making our time here so memorable. Xo

Our stay here was truly wonderful. The location is in a charming mountain town with stunning views, and the hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. Due to a mix-up, we were initially placed in a room superior to the one we had booked, with the plan to move the next day. Because of nearby wildfires, the first night was stressful — something entirely beyond the hosts’ control — but they were very understanding and offered us the option to leave if we didn’t feel safe. We chose to stay, and since many guests left due to the fires, we ended up keeping the upgraded room for the rest of our stay. The hosts went above and beyond, providing fresh fruits and vegetables from their garden, and leaving a freshly baked loaf of bread on our terrace table each morning. It was by far an unforgettable experience, and we will definitely return if we get the chance.

The room was big and spacious, it was very clean and beautifully decorated and the view was amazing from the balcony, very peaceful 100% recommended if you need some peace of mind for a couple of days. The breakfast was great very filling.

If you want to visit Heaven on Earth before you die, you should definitely stay in Bujtina Anlu for at least three nights. This place is amazing and the host family are the sweetest and friendliest people I’ve ever met! I will never forget the day I arrived and I got to my apartment. The view from the apartments is, the least to say, breath taking. Everything clean, the bed mattress and pillow will make you feel better than your own home bed. The host lady is a Master Chef. She will cook you the best dishes from the Albanian cuisine. I can keep writing here for ages. The guesthouse provides perfect parking, so your vehicle or motorcycle will be in a safe spot. Also, if you’re a motorcyclist(s) and looking for a quick recharge on your adventure, this is the perfect place for that. 

This place has become my favourite one, and I will be a regular guest from now on.
I love Albania and the people here, this place is just what the people of Albania are all about. Thank you, guys and I love you all!
