Now that I have had a chance to experience Patagonia, let me offer the following: you will not find a more comprehensive place for nature than right here! As an example, with Darwin Expedition today, I saw the following (and I mean up close and personal): Magellan penguins, rockhopper penguins, elephant seals, sea lions (we needed to keep a respectful distance but we were still reasonably close). Plus we saw Commerson AND austral dolphins. This is an animal/nature lover's dream. Other cities are fine and I will not denigrate them; rather, what I'm saying is this is THE best place to see it all, and I mainly came to see the rockhoppers. Yes, it's a bit off the beaten path but well worth it.Guest review byRPMUnited States
