Very beautiful place to spend a few days or even more than a week. Plenty things to do - hiking, spa relax, good restaurants, beautiful sceneries. In Bad Aussee there are several places to eat or buy groceries. Whithin a few minutes you reach a lake to swim or a beginning of a hiking path. Good position for visiting Hallstadt, Bad Ischl or Salzburg. Bad Aussee is great location. Surrounded by the mountains. We made lots of nice trips to the great tourist attractions ( lakes, sightseeing points) . We visited Wolfgangsee lake and atter see Lake which were absolutely amazing. Only the downside of it was the parking in the city.Guest review byJana - 10.0

Bad Aussee is a very good area for cross country skiing in the winter, and also for mountain biking in the summer. The Narzissentherme resort is also very nice. Bad Aussee is also near the Loser Ski area (15 minutes by car).Guest review byBruceAustria

We were given a huge room with actually two rooms. On arrival at about 4pm we were also offered dinner for €20 (like Halbpension). The best thing though was Ulli (I hope I got the name right) - the receptionist, waitress and everything else she did. Breakfast was ample too - it was included. We would stay here again. The accomodation is a complex of 12 appartments in 3 levels and all have the magnificent view to the nature, mountains.
