The location is excellent to avoid the crowded city center of Salzburg, but still in near distance (7-9 min by car). Very good value of money. Breakfast is abundant & excellent. The staffs are very polite & very helpful. Strongly recommended.

We were so happy to find such a great place! It is just perfect for Salzburg visit. Rooms are good enough, large bathroom. Bus 21 to Salzburg every 15 min to the center! We even got free tickets at the reception. Breakfast is fresh, tasty and all in good quality. We could leave our luggages at the reception after check out. What I would recommend to the other guests with kids traveling with big luggage - there is not the lift and is better to pack 1 small luggage just for this stay, than to carry heavy big one to the 4th floor.

SUPERB - we were there on a couples trip + our dog. The hotel is set in a quiet area, 15 mins away from Salzbrug centre and within easy reach of beautiful nature points. The location is great, quiet, scenic. The hotel & rooms are very clean, modern, comfortable. The breakfast was great, and the dinner (paid separately) was even better. Overall, our only regret is not staying a bit longer.

The room was comfortable, clean and aesthetically appealing. The staff are welcoming, helpful and beautifully presented. The facilities are perfect for a family or single or couple travelers. Swiming pools, sauna, playgrounds and other activites for everyone. The dining - breakfast is a must with a selection that caters to all - excellent selection for vegans. The evening meal was also enjoyable and a perfect place to host friends.The little touches in our room - the pool towels in a pool bag, the cute room sign, and the products in bathroom - again vegan friendly.

The 180 degree view from the Gasthof Maria Plain hotel terrace, and from the balcony of room #20 which we had, captures sweeping pastoral greenery in the foreground, behind which is the city of Salzburg with the iconic fortress on the berg, back-dropped by the soaring Austrian Alps.     Excellent location just outside of Salzburg, yet it gives you a feeling of a detached heavenly place thanks to the views and ambiance. Stylish, cozy, clean room. Room and the hotel are decorated with pieces of art, I took time to walk around and checked many of them. Sufficient parking space, which is free of charge. The surroundings are just heavenly, as I sad. Very good breakfast, as the quality of food is superior. I am thinking to come back with friends or family!

    The facility was well renovated. The shower room was super clean and had a nice modern design. The bed room interior was also lovely, it was like staying at a castle. Right above the hotel, there was a beautiful church. The hotel was located at the top of the hill, so It was a nice short walk around the area to see panoramic view.

    The Hotel is a bit outside the city but there is the bus stop to the center just in front of the Hotel. The room is comfortable enough even if the furniture is a bit old and the breakfast good and rich. The staff is efficient but not much friendly

    A lovely hotel just out of town with great breakfast. My room was spacious and comfortable and I enjoyed sitting in the outdoor space with the view of the mountains. Great base to see Salzburg!
