We spent Christmas here and we liked everything about our stay. We booked half board and there was a wonderful 3 course dinner everyday (with one extra course for Christmas). The proximity to ski lifts, ski and snowshoe rental equipment, and many snowshoeing trails were added advantages. The staff was very helpful and welcoming.

This was our second year in a row at the Alpenstern. The hotel has a superb location right at the piste and an all day long sunny terrace. The rooms are beautiful and the pool and spa with the panoramic sauna are an absolut highlight. The hotel offers a big and tasty breakfast buffet and delicious 3 course dinner option.     The holiday was great we had plenty of snow and blue skies, with a dump of snow on the last day.Apres ski was bouncing on the slopes. The hotel staff were awesome and the food was cooked to perfection. The spa was really quiet during the day which gave a relaxing end to a perfect day...where we stayed there wasnt much night life which was exactly what we wanted and you make your own entertainment. We will definitely go back.

    Damüls is a lovely ski resort in Austria, although it did get extremely over-populated at the weekend. We had thankfully planned for this and took the day off snowboarding on the Saturday and went for a hike instead. Next time, we will just come for the week days! The weather was very warm, which encouraged day trippers to come, so I think that contributed.

    Its clean, large rooms/beds, easy to access, plenty of parking. In the morning there are waffles and eggs brought to your table, as are there multiple options for tea and coffee. They also help u get your 'gaste carte' working which lets u ride the ski lift for free. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience. Would go there again easy
