We had a wonderful stay at this lovely family-run hotel in Austria during our summer holiday. The hospitality was exceptional, and the team went above and beyond—even after we left! Our young daughter lost one of her earrings during our stay, and we mentioned it at reception. To our surprise, they found it after we had checked out and kindly mailed it all the way to Denmark. Such a thoughtful gesture that truly touched us! The hotel offers stunning views of the mountain cliffs and is just a short walk from the cable car, which we could use daily for free thanks to the LEOGANG Card provided by the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, and our kids absolutely loved both the indoor and heated outdoor pools. Highly recommended for families looking for a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience!

One of the best things about staying in a cabin was the wonderful huge box of breakfast ingredients that get delivered to your door in the morning which you awake to..just fantastic ! The manager and staff were really great and helpful! LOVED the red light & natural sauna in the cabin was so great to have a private sauna

    Leogang is a hidden gem attached to the Skicircus Saalbach.

    Leogang is a hidden gem attached to the Skicircus Saalbach. We come to Leogang (Rain) for the easy connection to this massive ski area, without the crowds or noise of Saalbach. The ski runs down to Leogang itself are among the best in this area, with #206 being a great cruising blue with unexpectedly excellent snow late in the day when everything else was slush, and lots of fun short reds and blues for the weak-legged at the top of Asitz. Leogang village is quite spread out between the Sonnrain/Leogang/Rosental area (a small village with a supermarket and bakery), Rain (a small hamlet with a massive hotel, attached restaurant and little else), and... whatever the bottom of the Asitzbahn is called - still Leogang? We came via train, and used the train/bus to get around, but be aware Leogang station is a 25 minute walk from anywhere useful. Rain has a large hotel and not a lot else. We did need to go on hour-round-trip walks to get to the supermarket in Leogang proper. That was fine, because we were here for the skiing and the access to the skiing is great. If you're looking for a very quiet, upmarket environment with great skiing access, Rain is the place to stay. If you want more convenience, check out either Leogang itself (more stuff, but you'll be bussing to the lifts if the morning) or the Asitzbahn area (a bit more to do than Rain, but no station).

    This was a great surprise for us.

    This was a great surprise for us. The accommodation has great views and surroundings and there is plenty to do nearby for the entire family. The room was very clean and had all the amenities needed. We noticed the attention to details everywhere, starting with the reception officers, which were very welcoming and helpful and ending with the room itself. It was a great surprise for us and we would recommend this hotel for a nice relaxing vacation in Austrian Alps.

    An amazing spa hotel with beautiful mountain views. Particularly the new spa building is architecturally incredible, as well as the outdoor lake with heated pool and cafe / bar. Also enjoyed several spa treatments, which were very good and fair value for money. Enjoyed the fact that the hotel tries to innovate with a longevity angle, both in terms of food and treatments. The breakfast buffet was really amazing.

    Great new apartment, spaciious and comfortable, 1 minute from steinbergbahn gondola, from grocery store and from nice ski rental shop. 2 bathrooms each with shower and toilet plus third toilet. A very comfortable ski room with lots of boot driers. Nice owners very responsive and Beata the housebkeeper helped us a lot! Easy self check in. Good WiFi. Nice heating. We had a great stay and would love to come back!

    Friendly host, clean and well-kept guesthouse. The facilities, environment, and surroundings exceeded our expectations (especially for a small town like Leogang). Comfortable apartment with spacious rooms, a toilet, a kitchen, a balcony, and basic necessities. The bus stop and cable car station are both nearby (walkable/ridable). I will most certainly return!
