Better than hoped for, luxurious, big and clean appartment. Owner was really kind and helpful. Free parking and good restaurants nearby the house. It's in the center of a small village near the mountains which created a great view and cozy and quiet stay.

Absolutely beautiful place. Great view from the balcony. Good breakfast selection. We went on a hiking trail right behind the Resort and it was superb. Some of the most peace I've had in a while. The bathroom was across the hallway, but it was never occupied and always clean when we had to use it, and gave wonderful instructions on how to most peacefully conduct business. Some nice restaurants in the area. The people around the Retreat all had smiles on their faces. We would come again. And if only to once more see the light in the eyes of the owner.

Gasthof Lowen is truly exceptional. Run by the most welcoming, hospitable family in Austria, even the cows are friendly! And thanks to Simon for his kindness and English expertise. The house itself is wonderful, full of historical features and immaculately clean. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and very comfortable. The guest kitchen is also handy and provides a nice cosy area to make coffee or meet other guests. Breakfast is excellent fresh produce, the breads were fantastic. Located very close to the train station and several cafes and restaurants. Very peaceful and relaxing place, remember to visit the cows!

Second time staying here as we loved it so much in 2022. It didn't disappoint. Love the spa and pool area. Food is amazing and the staff are great. And the views - there's not many better views from a hotel in the world as there is from here. A third trip will definitely happen.

    A fantastic experience in this wonderful hotel with so much character and charm. The staff were amazing and friendly, and even though it was a shot stopover on our way to Salzberg, it ended up being a wonderful experience. The rooms were incredible, and lavishly adorned to suit the character of the hotel. We spent the entire morning walking around the lake, which was stunning, and found the history of the lake and castle fascinating.

    Astonishing value for money - both the room and the restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel set in an attractive alpine town, right by a square with plenty of public parking. The room, as well as spacious and comfortable, was like that of a more expensive hotel. My supper was fine dining at a burger-bar price. It really couldn't have been better.

    Great place! Mrs Eiter and her husband are a very lovely family and their house is super comfy. We have enjoyed our stay there. The hosts were easygoing - we were mumbling some German words to them yet still we have managed to have a nice conversations and arrange everything well :) Nassereith is a nice village too, but you must be equipped with cash.

    Everything was perfect! Comfortable, clean, spacious, and very welcoming. Jasmin is a perfect host. It's located in the village centre, close to the church. Nice restaurant close by. A small supermarket and bakery are only a 10 minute walk away. Level parking should you be on a motorbike. Nassereith is a beautiful village off the Fern Pass.

    I love the lake of the hotel i could walk around amongst the cows and sit along to enjoy the paddleboats. I liked that they have a restaurant with traditional food and there is no need to move your car to drive into town. The scenary is wonderful!
