The room was clean, spacious enough and the aircon worked very well. The staff was friendly and especially amenities like camp kitchen and free laundry were a great bonus.

It is a unique and special location ..and a truly beautiful one. It was our first experience of the red centre and I was struck by the beauty of the landscape particularly in the soft light of dawn and sunset and the stillness …and a big night sky I hadn’t ever experienced before. There really is a Milky Way !!

Great place to experience, to see Uluru and walk around it and learn about its importance to the traditional owners. Went out to the Olga’s and saw the sunrise over Uluru, it was spectacular. Enjoyed some great walks. Fabulous tour guide, very knowleable.it is worth getting a tour guide rather than doing it yourself.

    A trip of a lifetime!

A trip of a lifetime! We especially enjoyed the BBQ dinner and Star Gazing excursion out at Uluru! I've never seen so many stars! The Milky Way and two other galaxies all with the naked eye! I'm so glad we made the trip.

We had perfect weather had just rained so left us with some lovely green scenery. Weather was perfect. A little hassle with flies so need a net for face. Need a rental car to get around to see all sites. Just the experience of being there was magical. Day and night with the night sky as something unreal.

Ayers Rock was a bucket list destination.

Ayers Rock was a bucket list destination. I have now scratched that itch. It was OK but don't feel the need to ever return. Sadly it rained the two days we were there - (most unusual), which kept the flies at bay but didn't really allow us to make the most of our time there. It is beautiful and I think has to be done if you are able, but two days is more than enough unless you are able to get out there and do some walking

It is impossible to explain the experience of visiting this area. While at first glance it seems mundane, but up close and walking in its shadow will give you an entirely different perspective. Definitely take the trail around Ayers Rock.

I loved my stay at Sails in the Desert and the room had everything that I needed - and more! I especially love the dual power shower and satin sheets. My only regret is that I did not allow time to enjoy the hotel's restaurant, swimming pool, and other facilities. A very enjoyable stay that I would highly recommend to others.

Comfortable hotel with all basic amenities available. Free shuttle back and forth to hotel was very handy. Kids enjoyed the pool. Pools at Sails could also be used which was a bigger one. All in all good stay.

Room was nice, facilities were good. This was the cheaper hotel but was great value for money. Nice pool. Shuttle bus runs fairly often around the resort which is handy.

The option for two people to stay together in an apartment rather than hotel room.
