Ingrid and Don have just taken over this accommodation a few months ago, have done some upgrade and renewal and are doing an outstanding job. The units are in town centre of the very small town of Elliston. But on a good location. The units are small but do have all amenities. And the renewal and upgrades have made the units very comfortable. New bed, new furniture, some fresh paint, small things that do the job. And the unit was immaculately clean. On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable and affordable and value for money. Additionally Ingrid and Don are very pleasant and customer oriented hosts and you can tell that they over 30 years of experience, they know how to treat customers. Would definitely recommend!

The lady at the visitors centre is terrific.

The lady at the visitors centre is terrific. The centre also houses a 2nd hand book area. The views from the beach area are lovely. Go up to the headland and see the surf roll in from the Southern Ocean. Not to be missed is the cliff top sculpture tour, map at the visitors centre. Drive a few kilometres towards Venus Bay and lookout for Colton Bakery on the left. Fresh baked bread, sells out fast, cash only, honest box system. Not far further along past Port Kenny is a turning on the left for Murphy's Haystacks, a huge granite formation, well worth a stop and look. The toilet is clean as well. Elliston is small and quiet but not boring.

Elliston Is a very small country town with not very much there except for a good pub/hotel with good food. However, this is an excellent location to see the surf reef and spectacular waves breaking on the coastline. The coastal Trail, which is just over 11 kg long it’s definitely worth doing and it’s really well maintained, classy (with statues along the way) and very well thought out. Overall, then I would highly recommend Elliston a short stay.

    Very well appointed unit.

Very well appointed unit. Everything you need for a short or long stay, clean and organised. In such a small town you couldn't get a better location! Literally 100 metres to the pub, bakery and general store. Within another two kilometers you can catch King George whiting off the beach (in a protected bay) or catch tommy rough and squid off the jetty, plus beautiful cliff walks. Great drives within 20 minutes include Lake Newland, Walkers rocks with its pristine white sand dunes, a spectacular cliff drive and the impressive (but often rough) Locks Well beach, best to admire or fish than swim in though.
