A lovely spot but does rely a lot on physical fitness. Those with difficulty walking very far would miss out on the best spots. Harrington is a quiet seaside hamlet.
Harrington is a quiet seaside hamlet. Apart from the disgruntled worker at the convenience store all other retail workers were pleasant. The pub was a lovely surprise. And the club happily accommodated a birthday event on short notice. This was a very comfortable place to stay.
This was a very comfortable place to stay. The room was bigger than a normal motel and had a lovely bathroom. We were on the ground floor and just steps from a lovely pool. The bed was super comfortable. This place attracts older visitors who are looking to play golf. Therefore, it’s very quiet. Harrington has breathtaking views of several kinds of waterways - the wild ocean, the gentler bay ocean, the tranquil rivers, inland water ways, swamps and marshes, break water divisions all full of abundant bird life living along side the town. Many places to eat both outside and inside, excellent pubs and very friendly people. You can ride your bike/walk all around along shared paths or simply cruise along the roads in your car with your windows down to take in the sea breeze. The Gold Course, Surf beaches, piers, wetlands and national park offer sporting opportunities along with fishing and bushwalking or mountain bike riding. There is also a local shopping area with everything you need. The pubs are the best with gorgeous outdoor areas with amazing views of the waterways and oceans.Guest review byDanielleAustralia - 10.0

Great little town with adequate shops for supplies. Excellent hotel with great views and very good food and the added bonus of a courtesy bus. Also recommend the rainforest walk, nearby Crowdy Head, and the Cattai Wetlands. Overall, a very good experience and would definitely recommend a visit.Guest review byChristineAustralia

We loved watching sunset at Harrington breakwall and sunrise at Crowdy Head light house which is a few mins drive from this place. The property was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. Kids enjoyed playing games in large open backyard.
