The thing I like most about Hobart was that all of the attractions- beaches, marinas, good food, museums and botanic gardens, were within walkable distance. There were so many lovely parks and gardens, and my favorite of all; the number of significant buildings which have been restored and maintained and available for visitors to see. My partner and I are Octogenarians, and as such our needs and expectations may differ significantly to much younger persons. There was nothing that stood out as being particularly interesting to us; it was a visit just to see another another City and it's people. We had hoped to visit MONA, but as luck would have it, it was closed whilst we were in Hobart for regular maintenance etc. Nevertheless, this will give us an excuse for another visit another day!Guest review byRobertAustralia - 10.0

Hobart is a perfect location for a long weekend . It’s very relaxing , the food choice is excellent and the harbour area is great to explore . My only problem is walking up the hills .
