Very welcoming hosts who immediately made me feel comfortable. Great communication and fabulous stories. Sympathetically restored building with a great feel. Large, comfortable rooms and lovely communal areas with lots of visual interest. Thoughtfully and charmingly appointed. Fabulous garden. Relaxing to sit by the pond under the trees and enjoy being visited by the chooks. Met a very happy rescue fish, a unique and memorable experience. Fresh and delicious continental breakfast with coffee made just the way you like it.

    A beautiful cottage tucked away in a tranquil part of Mount Macedon - the perfect stay for those looking to unwind, relax and be close to nature. The cottages are warm, homely and comfortable with high quality linen, well equipped & thought out amenities, the best breakfast you'll have in a while and friendly farm land/gardens to explore. Andrew the host is exceptional and goes above & beyond.

    The gardens were magnificent, we'd love to return in autumn. The entire area was very quiet because of the covid lockdown in Melbourne. The Trading Post serves excellent food and coffee. If you go, don't miss the gardens at Forest Glades.
