Friendly pleasant staff🙂. The location was perfect, very close access to the bus/transit system, pretty much at the doorstep. Our room was maintained nicely every day. We were on the 5th floor, and it was quiet the entire month we were there. We used the pool several times, and it was clean. My mom and I were comfortable there (made it our home away from home) I would stay again, and I suggested that my daughter who just lives down the street from the hotel to encourage her friends to stay there when they come visit from Canada 🇨🇦 🙂 Good fair price! And thanks for the TimTams they were delicious 😋. We bought more to take back home with us. We were happy with our stay. There were a lot of hot days in February, but the air con kept us cool.

    Liked nothing. You book & pay for a room in advance to find out at 11pm room isn’t safe to sleep in. What do they offer a refund. What are we supposed to do Sleep in car as no other rooms available.

    The aircon leaked inside onto table our and on phones and our items got wet The toilet was moving as u sat on it and poor lighting in bathroom beds hard pillows low fridge empty usable to use radio alarm the corridor to room dark wet and obstructed by chairs we were very disappointed

    A nice relaxing short stay at the Metro Mirage Hotel Newport. A great restaurant near the Mirage hotel called the Beco Newport cafe. We visited the restaurant for a late breakfast on both days. Great service and great food. For a drink pop across the road for a drink at the Newport Arms Hotel with their vast outdoor seating and great views. It is close to the bus stop for a ride to Palm Beach to wander up the beach and have lunch at Barrenjoey House. Great service, food and atmosphere.
