A lovely town that we intend to revisit on a future trip, and explore more of the surrounding area. Loved the Nundle Woollen Mill - a great piece of living history. On a future occasion I'd like to dine at the pub - unfortunately this time our arrival was delayed and the kitchen was closed. General advice for staying in any small country town - arrive early for dinner, or have a back-up plan. (This is by no means a criticism, just an FYI for travellers who may not be aware.) There was a group of 12 travelling together and staying at the Peel Inn. It was a great venue for our group. Lovely gathering spaces and excellent cooked breakfast. We ate at the dining room at the Inn for dinner and enjoyed the food. We visited the woollen mills which is across the street and the other lovely shops in the town. The Woollen Mill is very interesting. Hanging Rock lookout is spectacular. Sheba dam is peaceful and pretty. A small town but with several nice shops to browse with friendly & helpful shop keepers. Definitely worth a visit.Guest review byMichael - 10.0

Nundle has a history steeped in gold mining.
Nundle has a history steeped in gold mining. A picturesque village in an idyllic quiet location. Craft store, various stores, museum, community garden, amazing gem collection, great food at The Peel Inn, and fabulous shopping at the famous Nundle Woollen Mill. Just up the hill is the beautiful Sheba Dam, Hanging Rock and further on the Arc en Ciel Trout Farm. Definitely worth a visit for a night or few.Guest review byJudyAustralia
