The property fully met my expectations from the description and price. I award 10 on that basis. This is not a luxury hotel, nearby is a higher grade hotel at double the price. The staff were first rate.

The location is amazing. The island and the surrounding reef systems and fishing opportunities are second to none. Travelled for a fishing trip and came away with plenty of fillets and some amazing game fishing.

The museum was excellent, the boardwalk was good.

The museum was excellent, the boardwalk was good. I liked the location with the beach nearby, I liked the information on the boardwalk. The road to thr old town was very touch and the signs weren’t accurate

Not a lot to do in Onslow.

Not a lot to do in Onslow. However it has a nice beach to stroll along, a museum of local history. A nice beach hotel with nice food and service a relaxing atmosphere. 2 days is enough to relax and regenerate.

Great little town, friendly locals and lots to see and do in the way of 4wding, exploring, fishing and snorkelling. Well worth 3-4 nights to stay and check out some local spots or camp on the river. We will be back but better prepared for a longer stay. The local aquatic centre is a MUST do for any kids. Friendly staff, fantastic amenities and the pool is huge with lots of grass, inflatables and games. Local museum and pub is also great. The Onslow Beach Hotel Restaurant has some stunning views of the water whilst enjoying a lovely meal and drink. Highly recommend and kid friendly.
