I didnt have much of an opportunity to see the shops - seems to be a few vintage/second hand stores that i wanted to visit. We ate at Leon's palace as the orbost hotel's chef was ill therefore the restaurant was closed. The food was great. Orbost river was such a great place to cool down and have a swim. The locals were there too and friendly Close to Buchan Caves which we visited and some waterfalls. Room has only one powerpoint and bad placement on side of bed. Access from remote dirt car park via a series of convoluted stairs and passages - not good for older people or with heavy luggage, Also happened to be night beer garden outside window had live modern LOUD music until very late! And I have never stayed at a place with such comfortable beds. It's like you're being cuddled whilst sleeping. The place is so cool, different and very, very clean. The staff are so friendly.
