Perfect location, tranquil and magical. Incredibly relaxing, beautiful grounds and loads of wildlife to see. The rooms were very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Darren the owner was helpful and very pleasant. Pemberton is very pleasant, but, in truth, we would have been quite happy just staying at the retreat and enjoying the idyllic surroundings.

My stay at the Settlers Cottage at Ampersand Estates in Pemberton was beyond amazing! The accommodation was flawless---beautifully designed interiors, gorgeous amenities, my very need, and requirement fully anticipated. In short, the perfect embodiment of luxury amidst stunning natural beauty. On arrival, I was greeted by the friendly staff with a glass of sparkling and given a tour of the accommodation and the estate. In the Settlers House itself, there were beautiful complimentary wines and chilled spirits waiting for me, luxury chocolates next to the bed, and the two beautiful fireplaces were already lit. The Settlers house itself is perfection, a gorgeous restoration of a stunning turn-of-the-century farmhouse with jarrah flooring, double fireplaces, a generous kitchen, and an enormous stone bath. The wrap-around veranda is lovely for a barbeque or sipping a sundowner while watching the kangaroos in the vines. The kitchen was fully stocked with every imaginable cooking implement---between that and the gorgeous sheets and linens in each room I never wanted to leave! Highly recommend this luxurious stay—the accommodation is 5-star, the surrounds of the national park are gorgeous, it’s just a short drive into Pemberton town, and the wines, gins, and vodkas at the estate cellar door are world-class. I will be back!

We loved the walks to the Dam, and waterfalls And best thing we did was the understory art trail in northcliffe The only thing we found nothing was open for evening meals except the pub . Because it’s winter a lot close down which was a shame.

Lots to do and see, although a pity quite a few of the wineries are now closed or have restrictions on visiting. A must do is the Pemberton Tram! The walking trails are very well set up to enjoy the scenery and the beautiful forests, waterfalls and the history of the region.

The tram ride through the forest was wonderful and thank goodness was in operation daily as it was school holidays. Nice coffees but wished the museum was open later. Loved revisiting a place from my youth. It is always amazing to stand and look at Karri trees. A magical place.

Wonderful scenery. Lots to see. The museum covering a settlement known as Group Settlers established in 1919 is incredible. Interesting history. People are friendly. Good eating places and nothing is to much trouble. great service from all those I ate in.

We were passing through and spent one night in Pemberton. A small country town with plenty on offer. A pub, cafes and other shops. The pub meal was good. The Pemberton train company ride is worthwhile. Unfortunately, there wasn't much water coming over the falls during March, but that was to be expected. Great commentary and scenery. Plenty of walks but one thing to do on a clear night is to go slightly out of town and have a look at the stars - AMAZING! Enjoy.
