We liked all the little extras.... they were very thoughtful and unexpected and added a special touch to our stay. Christmas tree lights and music were on when we arrived making it feel very homely, and the red bow was a very special touch. It had a very luxurious feel, and we would love to stay there again.

It is about the little details that makes this place special. The fairy lights, the diffuser, coming " home" to a warm fire, the quaint and cute setting, the peace and quiet.

Wonderful gem of a property. A real delight to stay in this beautifully renovated cottage. Tastefully and comfortably furnished and so welcoming with lots of little thoughtful extras supplied (even a jar of chocolates). Centrally located, near to supermarket and town centre. A privilege to have stayed here. Highly recommended.

The house was beautifully presented and clean. It was pleasing to see how well the kitchen was set up with plenty of pots pans and glassware. The home is spacious with well defined areas for dining and sitting. Heating and air conditioning comfortable beds and nice linens made for a great stay. The added benefit of a washing machine was really welcome. Tea, coffee and fresh milk 😀

We liked Port Albert found it by chance we had never heard of it. Its a nice part of vic. Lots of history. Yarram is not far away with lots of paintings around the town to check out. Went to the ANZAC day ceremony which started 18 yrs ago with only a handful of people attending now there was over 100. Well worth going. We were there at the start of the week and i think some places like the maritime museum are open later and on the weekends. Still we will be back to check out this area. Check out the fish and chip shop. we will go Italian restaurant next time.

Quiet coastal town with a good fish & chip shop on the pier. No pub & only a small shop. Wine provided by the host. Suggest bringing own drinks if something different required. Breakfast pack was very generous & was plenty for 2 people for afternoon tea on arrival & breakfast.

A very quiet fishing village by the sea.

A very quiet fishing village by the sea. A short journey to Yarram, if required of dinner options over the local Fish & Chip shop. Great for couples wanting rest, relaxation and a little quiet, even for you a day or two! Could have stayed two nights.

Great history of the town being one of Victorias early main ports. Not too far into the closest major township of Yarram. Quiet coastal location with a great fish and chip shop on the jetty. The area was very popular with fisherman either from the jetty or by boat. Caravan Park right on the water.

My husband and I have taxing occupations. We both needed to get away to relax. This was the perfect place. We were supposed to go to a show in Yarram whilst there but felt so relaxed that we chose to stay in the area and chill out. Enjoyed Agnus falls whilst there.

Port Albert is a lovely little port town, with a history that goes back to the very early days of European occupation of what is now Victoria. The Maritime Museum is excellent, both for casual visitors and for serious researchers. The historic Christ Church in nearby Tarraville is also well worth a visit. Unfortunately the seafood restaurant at the wharf - previously a great attraction - is not operating at present, but there is a take away at the end (fish and chips good, but choice very limited, no salads, etc).
