Thanks for everything - we didn't all the food provided, as we brought a lot of food ourselves, as I knew it was a fair drive to a decent supermarket. The property itself was spotless, modern and well appointed. You can sit and relax, watching the abundant bird life or take an energetic walk through to the trig point north of Hines Bay.

A good day visit would be enough to see the area.

A good day visit would be enough to see the area. The information centre was terrific and professional in promoting the area but the shire needs to lift there game to update signage ( especially the blackfellows cave). Penguins should of been protected better from vermin before they were wiped out. A cleaner pier that's not covered in bird poop would of been nice also

A hidden gem of town - picturesque, historic, interesting and extremely friendly and welcoming locals who are proud of their town. The Periwinkle Cafe and the Victoria Hotel serve delicious meals and drinks with extensive options for all ages and dietary requirements. There is quite a lot to see and do in this small town - wished we had stayed longer!

Hasn't changed in size and infrastructure since the 1980s extremely small place no growth in the town and very old and weathered town, we was glad that we stayed only two nights. We won't be coming back sorry.
