The location was great, directly opposite of the beach. The room was perfect for our needs, it was really big and we had the opportunity to cook our own food. Additionally, the facilities were really awesome: an indoor and an outdoor pool! Really recommend staying here, it was totally worth the money.

    We liked our villa, very comfortable, the camp kitchen was the best we have seen. The grounds and amenities were great, reception staff very friendly. We did not find anything to complain about. We had some great meals close to the holiday park. Easy walking to the shops in the Main Street .

    The location is perfect, across the road from the beach, walk to the pub and restaurants. Plus all the resort facilities are great. The shower over the bath in most of the rooms is very high to get in and out of, with no handle to hold on to!

    we were lucky we had the Food and Wine Festival, the Markets the Beach. We went to Tea Gardens for lunch via the catamaran. We dined at the Country Club 5/10. Thai Restaurant 10/10 and eat in Nelson Bay shopping town

    Shoal Bay is a lovely location to visit, lots of great walks...

    Shoal Bay is a lovely location to visit, lots of great walks, beautiful scenery and lovely safe beaches. There are cafes and restaurants along the foreshores. It is a peaceful part of the world although it does get busy on the weekends.

    Overall shoal bay is a very relaxing place to stay, like most popular destinations it’s wise to book into into restaurants at popular times like summer I haven’t been up that way for a break for awhile and the fact that you have to pay to park in a lot of places when some of the streets are horrendous to drive on just doesn’t seem right, they want tourists to go to these destinations but aren’t giving them any incentives to do so

    Lots of nearby restaurants and clubs, beach just across the road, dolphins came to visit the wharf opposite on Saturday night making it extra special as they frolicked for the gawking crowds gathered on the new pier.

    The 3 bedroom apartment was just beautiful. It was really clean and very spacious with lovely decor. The kitchen was large, modern and had everything needed to cook for a group. It had spacious bathrooms with bath and spa bath with lovely products. The best part was the huge balcony with expansive views of Shoal Bay with ocean, the town and the hinterland. There was space on the balcony to eat, use the outdoor furniture and cook a BBQ while watching the ocean or even the sunset in the west. We loved our time in this accommodation.

    This property has everything you need and more! From the moment we booked, Jenni reached out to us and made us feel so welcome. Jenni was very accommodating and there was excellent communication throughout the whole process. The property was stocked with all the staple items and was clean, spacious and great for large groups. The pool was clean and ready to go! Perfect location if you are looking for a beachside getaway! It is a 2 min walk (if that) to Shoal Bay, cafes, fish and chips takeaway and the country club.
