We did the 6 hour road trip for our children's three day sporting tournament and had booked and stayed here (our first time). Check in was smooth sailing, the staff were lovely. The room was amazing!! We walked in and the air con had been on, so it was so nice walking into a nice warm room. The beds were so comfortable!! Everytime we had left and come back, the cleaner had been and had made our beds and cleaned up after us which was so lovely! Thank you! And sorry for being messy! 😉 The hotel was close to shops, sporting facility and pub which was handy. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family and we will definitely be coming back! 😊

Lovely accommodation, really clean and comfortable. lovely quality bedding,also fridge was stocked with cold dinks that you could purchase along with snacks, great idea if you arrive late. Accommodation was on a main road but our apartment 2 was far enough back so road noise was not a problem. easy access to the main town. in the apartment there was info on the surrounding area as well as recommendations for food, this was most appreciated

    We enjoyed walking along the River, and noted the excellent playing fields and public spaces. We enjoyed visiting the Regional Gallery. Beware though, the Oxley Highway is closed during the week, and when we travelled Thunderbolts Way was also closed south of Walcha. We travelled many extra kilometres to reach Port Macquarie via Waterfall Way.

    Tamworth is a very clean bustling city with surprisingly great restaurants. Easy to get around, great facilities and shopping. Lots to do - it seems to be popular with events (Vintage car rally, regional markets, and sporting events on) this made making a booking essential - all motels booked out on the weekend of our visit. A really great regional town, with friendly people, great restaurants (Centillion Chinese, Longyard Pub, and Powerhouse sampled during our stay). All had exceptional food. Covering pub, family and high end dining. BTW Powerhouse specialises in high quality beef and lamb, so make sure your wallet is bulging. Travelling from Sydney up the New England through the Hunter Valley is beautiful.

    Bitterly disappointed in the shopping, take out the BRAND...

    Bitterly disappointed in the shopping, take out the BRAND names & nearly all the privateers are gone. Highly recommend, Goonoo Goonoo station comes highly recommended for an award winning lunch / dinner. "Coffee on the run" on Goonoo Goonoo Rd has to come to the top of our list for service & all round performance, well done. All round though, a great place to visit.

    We only stayed overnight on our way to another destination and a quick lunch stop on the way home - the park precinct with cafe is lovely with good clean toilets and Dragon Palace Chinese restaurant is exceptional - possibly the best I’ve had

    We loved our horseriding experience, and our visits to all the museums - Golden Guitar, Hall of Fame and Callala House. We especially loved the opportunity to treat ourselves to a fine dining experience at the Powerhouse restaurant.

    Give the services club a go .

    Give the services club a go . Only stayed 1 night and was looking for somewhere to eat . Did not know what to expect when we went inside as it was very small and not many people were in there. To my surprise meals were just what we wanted . Nice and simple a day cheap. I had fish and chips and the wife had chicken snitzel. Only pub meals but very nice . Would recommend giving them a go. Staff were also very nice

    Staff/Owner is wonderful Beds so comfortable shower was amazing highly recommended 😄 We'll be back soon Close to local shops and the Golden Guitar 🎸 is just up the road, West Tamworth Shopping center close, Restaurants close as well or you can order Door Dash delivery. We stayed for 2 nights but could've stayed longer, next time we will be staying longer . Thanks for a fantastic stay my Partner and I very happy 😊😁

    We were greeted cheerfully and given the relevant information upon arrival. The room and bathroom were well presented and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is not located close to the town centre; however, for our one-night stay, we made use of the adjoining leagues club restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Parking is onsite and free.

    Michael was super welcoming. Little touches like the 'drink on arrival' and the Ecoya scents do not get missed. The cleanest hotel I have stayed in in a long, long LONG time by far - it made me instantly feel fresh and comfortable - which is exactly what you need when travelling for work!
