While one might think Noord may be too far from the action...
While one might think Noord may be too far from the action and the beaches, they'd be wrong. Other than the Baby beach area everything is within 10-15 min drive. If a car rental is not in the cards, or you love constant hustle and bustle, then I suggest staying in town . Love that there are lots of tourist activities and available beaches. Many food markets and restaurants. Close enough for everything.
Close enough for everything. Ideally need a car to get around as could not see any public transport. Best experiences were butterfly farm and trek and natural pool in national park. It even came with a pair of beach chairs and a cooler. The owners are great, they gave us a lot of useful advice about the island.
