We used to go to the old Thermes spa facility more than 10 years ago. We were pleasantly surprised and happy to spend the day at the new Thermes facility that has been built on the hill (near top of the funicular). Well worth a day or 2 visit. Spa is a town with a great history, and its fairly easy to get to know. The tourism office was very helpful, especially with information, maps, etc about walks in the area. We enjoyed the thermal baths, the funicular railway, hiking in the countryside, and walking around the township looking at the variety of architectural styles. There was a festival on while we were there, and some free activities which were great fun. Meals were a bit inconsistent, but we had a wonderful dining experience at l'Auberge restaurant - great food, great service, good value.Guest review byPeterAustralia

Parking was no problem, and we were greeted by Francoise who was a fantastic host. The property is tucked away from the road, with its own roof terrace. It has been renovated to the highest of standards, with every detail considered. We were simply blown away by the sense of luxury. Comfortable beds, clean towels and quality bed linen, well equipped kitchen and a fantastic sense of style throughout. I took an overnight mother–daughter trip with my 10-year-old, and we both had an amazing stay. She loved the pool just as much as I did — it was spacious and had everything you could want for a relaxing weekend. The hotel also offered plenty of comfortable lounge areas downstairs and a lovely terrace, perfect for enjoying a drink or meal in the sun.
