The lady from reception called me several times to tell me that the reception is closing by 19:00 and she is going to miss the bus to Karlovo otherwise. When I asked her if the reception would be open after that, she said “madam this is Sopot”. I do not blame the lady, but please state that the reception is open until 19:00 a you do not except guests after that! The hotel is dirty and smells of mold. We need to change hotel immediately. We changed to the other hotel in town.

Everything was great! The hosts welcomed us warmly and we didn't felt for a second, that we don't belong there. Instead we were offered cherries from their garden and we were placed in a new room! I highly recommend this place, as not only the hosts are great (they make you feel like you are with your grandma and grandpa) but the location is 10 mins away from the centre where you can explore a lot of museums and different restaurants.

I found the hotel to be very central to the town. Dimitar spoke excellent English. The accomodation was super, so spotless, hot water for showers, beds very comfortable and we had a balcony view to enjoy the Balkan mountains. He was very friendly and knowledgeable on the town history and spots of interest to visit. He gave us his time to explain the restaurantsto visit and he was also on hand if needed extra pillows towels etc. I highly recommend to stay here
